Vin
de la Tortue The flagship in the
Stoumann's collection is a dry, red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz,
Merlot and Cabernet Franc. As the tortoise is known for its gradual progress
and adaptability, the "tortoise
wine" is produced in the same time honoured traditional manner. |
|
Red
Muscadel The grapes of this
cultivar are left to ripen for as long as possible in the golden West
Coast sunshine to produce this raisin-complex wine. This outstanding
wine is matured in small American oak barrels. |
|
Shiraz Fermented in open
stainless steel, matured in small French oak barrels for almost one year,
this medium to full-bodied wine, with its typical Shiraz character, is a
must for all wine lovers. Shiraz 2009 will be available early 2010. |

Cabernet
Sauvignon Since 1997 Stoumann's
Wines, situated near Vredendal on the West Coast, has earned the
enviable reputation for having the entire production process in the
vineyards. The grapes for this
wood-matured wine are cultivated uniquely to ensure top quality grapes
to the cellar. Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 will be available early 2010. Enjoy at room
temperature. |

Hanepoot Jerepigo Hanepoot grapes, grown in
the fertile soil of the Excelsior farm, are crushed to must, given cold
soak and then fortified to end up in a fruity, sweet Jerepigo.
Serve on crushed ice as a
sundowner or just let it roll over ice cream as a desert. |
