In Memoriam

Great sadness due to two tragedies befell the Stoumann family during 2006.  Gielie and Marianné's youngest daughter, Marjón, passed away during May, after her 13th birthday.  Little Marjón had suffered from cerebral palsy since birth.  Her parents, siblings and godmother Melina (Gielie's younger sister), were still in mourning when Gielie suddenly passed away in a motor car accident during August 2006.

Friends and family will remember Gielie as a hardworking, diligent farmer, a compassionate human being and supportive husband and father to his wife and children. Gielie is sorely missed by his wife Marianné, daughter Tharine, sons CG and James, as well as parents, Stoffel and Gesie, sister Elmarie and her family, brother Napoleon and his family, sister Melina and her family.
