Stoumann's Skilpadkelder
The "Rittelfees", which has become an annual event in Vredendal, has created the opportunity for Stoumann's to offer accommodation at 3 campsites amongst the vineyards and at the cellar next to the R363 for the duration of the festival.
The festival takes place during October of every year featuring various South African artists.
Stoumann's has room for 250 guests.
The campsites are divided into plots of
5x5m; four people are allowed per plot.
Caravans are not allowed, as only tents
may be pitched (trailers welcome).
There are no power points
available, although the ablution facilities are equipped with hot water
showers.
24 hour security is arranged at the
campsites.
Cost: R80.00 per person per night.

Travel directions: Depending on which direction you will be traveling in, take the Vredendal turnoff from the N7 at either Klawer or Vanrhynsdorp. You may make use of the area map on the "Contact Us" page for clarity.
Traveling from Klawer you will pass the Spruitdrift Cellar, down towards Rondog and Vredendal Nursery (Kwekery) on the left. About 500m along to your right, look out for the white walled entrance marked "Stoumann's Wines". Turn in towards your right and follow the pointers.
Traveling from Vanrhynsdorp, you will drive into the town of Vredendal, turning left at the traffic lights with Standard Bank to your left. Carry on through town and follow the road for about 2,2km. Turn left at the Stoumann's Wines entrance and follow the pointers. Enjoy!

Stoumanns wines are produced in the smallest estate wine cellar in the Olifants River region. It is situated near the town of Vredendal on the West Coast of South Africa. Several vintages of white and red wines are produced. Exclusivity is a given.
